Divestment/Dilution of Existing Positions

  • Preparing or conducting QC on prospectuses, detailed information memorandum and other materials to garner interest in the asset
  • Utilizing our large industry network to make contact with potential buyers/partners, resulting in more cost- and time-effective efforts
  • Preparing and manning data-rooms, and conducting initial commercial negotiations with counterparties
  • Evaluating bids and managing the full scope of asset transition services for the vendor team

New Business and Venture Set-up

  • New business opportunity strategy: Working with senior management to define new positions to  complement existing portfolios
  • Opportunity identification and screening: Leveraging our understanding of geology, industry activity and our extensive industry networks to  mature/evaluate and recommend new opportunities that are available in the market
  • Bid strategy and development: Supporting bid teams with the development of robust bid strategies, competitive value propositions and bid documentation
  • Transition management: Delivering full scope of technical and commercial transition services for asset buyers, including subsurface asset data transfer and verification and technical due diligence
  • Venture set-up: Orchestrating end-to-end support for new ventures including business processes,  portfolio alignment and asset liability evaluation. VGS also provides functional expertise to new ventures in the following areas:
